Botanical Wreath Making

Welcome to our Wreath Making event!

WHEN: Sunday December 8th 1-3pm

COST: $35

Come join us at 114 E 3rd St, Newberg, Oregon for a fun-filled afternoon of crafting your very own festive wreath. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a beginner, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Get creative with a variety of evergreen branches and decorations to make a unique wreath that will add a special touch to your home this holiday season.

Our experienced instructor Cindi Chamberlain will be on hand to provide guidance and tips to help you create a beautiful wreath that you'll be proud to display. So grab a friend or come solo and enjoy a few hours of crafting and mingling with fellow wreath enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get into the holiday spirit and show off your creative side!

It will take at least 90mins- 2hrs to make your own wreath, so please be sure to arrive on time.

The price of the class will cover all the materials- wreath frame, greens and limited ribbons, so please feel free to bring something special for your own if desired. We do ask you to bring your own clippers- this is necessary for cutting up the greens and branches. We are also going to have a canned food drive for the local shelter in Newberg.

Animal Ally Meditation with Lindsay at Soter Vineyard

Wine + Wellness Events: Yoga with Lindsay at Soter Vineyards

Join Lindsay for a 30-minute yoga flow to prepare mind, body, and spirit for our animal ally meditation Journey. Next, we will embark on a 30-minute meditative journey to meet your animal allies. Lindsay will invite you to settle into the present moment, opening the mind and inviting in the medicine and wisdom that comes from the animal kingdom. Through guided imagery and invitations to enhance the senses, images, sounds, smells, etc, we will drop into a safe and nurturing space. Next, we will invite and spend time with three different allies. The allies that show up can offer insight and lessons on being human, being vulnerable, and seeking wholeness with all that is. Animals are a part of the pathway to power, understanding our role in the great mystery of life and honoring every living thing as a teacher. Bio

Lindsay Anderson is a yoga teacher and mental health therapist in private practice. Lindsay has a passion for empowering people to move freely in their bodies, connecting mind, body, and spirit, through mindful and intentional movement. Lindsay’s creative and dynamic flows will take you out of your head and into your body, leaving you feeling strong, embodied, and renewed. Join Lindsay on your mat for a class in Southwest Portland at Seeking Space Yoga, Parallel 45, Sculpt Yoga, SW Portland Martial Arts, & The Circuit Gym.

What to bring - Yoga mat, blanket - for mediation as body temperature tends to cool, pillow (optional)

The class will begin promptly at 6:45pm, so be sure to arrive 10 mins early to find your space and set up a mat. For those who would like to stay for wine after, you are all invited to stay after class to enjoy the view and a glass! Bottle purchases are also available as well.

Lorissa focuses on all-level alignment based yoga. She trained under Marianne Wells and primarily teaches gentle Hatha classes. Lorissa's goal is to meet you where you are and guide you gently through class.

Movement to Stillness Meditation

Have you ever tried to sit still in meditation but rather than arriving at a quiet, peaceful mind, found your mind racing, your body restless, and then judged yourself harshly for "failing"?

This “movement to stillness” approach to meditation was designed to address the modern day human’s needs by working with the body to literally shake off restless energy and express emotions physically before bringing ourselves naturally into a state of stillness and quietude.

This 1-hour meditation practice is divided into four 15-minute segments that will help you unlearn the energy of efforting and instead find relaxation, peace and self-acceptance in a meditation practice.

Please bring your own mat for this class, chairs can be provided if needed as well.
